Sermon Preview – Week of June 18

Greetings Grace Community Baptist Church!

It was a joy to worship with you this past Sunday and I look forward to gathering again this coming Sunday. We will look together at John 15:18-16:4a

Jesus continues to provide words of comfort to his disciples in light of the confusion and trouble they’re feeling about the uncertainty of their future with him. In 15:18-16:4a, gives yet another reason for why they can trust him: “You can trust me because, though persecution will come, I WILL NOT let you fall away!” What comforting truth that is, indeed!!!

Come prepared to hear from God’s Word by meditating on the passages below, and even familiarizing yourself with the songs we’ll sing.  I pray our gathering this Sunday will, once again, give us the assurance we need that Christ has a hold on us and will not let us go, even when our faith is tested by persecution. See you Sunday, Lord willing!

Blessings in Christ,

Josh Hayward, Interim Pastor
