Service Preview – Sunday, October 28

Last weekend, Keston Smith preached from 1 John 3:1-3, reminding us of how the Christian’s hope works itself out in sanctified living. If you were unable to join us, you can still listen to the message by clicking here:

This Sunday, David Robinson will be joining us from High Pointe Baptist Church. David Robinson has been a member of High Pointe Baptist Church in Austin, TX since 2010. David came to faith in Christ at the age of 23 while listening to a sermon preached by his uncle.  In 2012, he joined the staff of High Pointe Baptist Church as a Pastoral Assistant. David is now employed in healthcare administration. David earned a Bachelors degree in Mass Communication from Texas State University in San Marcos, TX.  David and his wife, Jenn, have been married for six years.

David will be preaching out of Psalm 13. From this passage David will help us see that “In the midst of feeling abandoned by God, we can pray and rejoice because of God’s past toward us and His promise of more grace.”

As we look ahead to Sunday, let us prepare to receive God’s Word by taking time to study and pray through the passages below. May we also examine our own hearts this week in preparation for observing the Lords Supper.
