Our Values

Worshiping God. Building Up The Body. Making Disciples..

Our mission is to participate in the building of Christ’s church among all peoples in the power of the Holy Spirit by making disciples who are wholehearted followers of Jesus Christ through the means of evangelizing unbelievers, baptizing new believers, gathering worshipers, and teaching worshipful obedience to all Christ has commanded in the Scriptures to the glory of God (Matt. 28:18-20; Acts 1:8; John 4:23-24; Rom. 12:1-2; Eph. 3:10)
We believe that our chief end is to glorify God and to enjoy Him forever. God created us with that purpose, but our sin has radically interrupted that purpose, and now instead of worshiping God we rebel against God by worshiping ourselves or other things. This rebellion leaves us under the just wrath of God. But God, in His loving kindness has provided us with the remedy in Jesus Christ. By grace, through faith in Christ we can fulfill our chief purpose as worshipers, which is living for the glory of God and finding our joy in Him.
We believe that God has a plan to display His wisdom and grace to the world through the Local Church (Ephesians 3:10). Building up the body of Christ then is essential to our DNA. We seek to do this through God honoring corporate worship and genuine small group community where God’s people can grow in the grace and knowledge of Christ.
We believe that God’s people aren’t only called to “gather” and build up the body. The Church gathers together to be built up in order to “scatter” or fulfill the commission we’ve been given by our Savior to make disciples of people from every tribe, tongue and nation. So, we are committed to reaching our community with the gospel along with taking the gospel to the ends of the earth.

What We Believe

Our Statement of Faith is a document that puts forth a concise and clear declaration
of what we believe as a church based on God’s revelation to us in the Scriptures.

This document is not an exhaustive explanation of our beliefs, but it highlights and
summarizes issues we deem as essential to membership of this local body and faithfulness to our Lord.

In summary we believe that God, the originator of all things, gave us the Scriptures, as our perfect guide, and that People, who were created to worship God have sinned against him, but have been offered Salvation which is rooted in God’s Grace which includes the simultaneous gifts of Regeneration and Justification that are linked necessarily to the response of Repentance and Faith. God’s work of salvation continues on in Sanctification and the Perseverance of Believers. Believers are united in the Church, which is to faithfully administer the ordinances of Baptism and the Lord’s Supper. As Christians we recognize God’s design in the Family and our responsibility to the Civil Government. Our final hope looks toward the World to Come, which we pray will arrive soon.

Grace Community worships together under a covenant, or statement on how we agree to live as a church. The church covenant is equal parts promise, summary of expectations, ethical statement, and biblical standard.  We require all new members to publicly affirm it before joining the church. We also reaffirm our commitment to the covenant at various times throughout the year, stand as a body, and recommit ourselves to it.
