Greetings Grace Community Baptist Church!
Brothers and sisters, last Sunday was such a delight to worship together! I sensed much life and excitement about God and his Word in our gathering. Praise God! If you were unable to be there, you can listen to this past Sunday’s sermon here.
For this coming Sunday, we will take a break from the Gospel of John, and Pastor Joe will preach from Matthew 28:16-20. He will remind us what the all-glorious, risen King Jesus has commissioned the church to do.
Begin preparing your hearts now to hear from God’s Word by praying through the passages below. We will sing again “Christ is Risen, He is Risen Indeed” so that we can become more familiar with it. Listen again to it here to be ready to sing it on Sunday. Moreover, we will sing a new song called “God Omniscient, God All-Knowing.” You can listen to it here.
One more thing: be sure to begin preparing your hearts to partake of the Lord’s Supper. If there is any sin you need to repent of (1 Cor. 11:27-28) or if you are not reconciled to another brother or sister in the church (Rom. 12:18), be sure to pursue repentance and reconciliation this week.
I’ll pray for a fruitful time of gathered worship around God’s Word!
Blessings in Christ,
Josh Hayward, Interim Pastor
