Service Preview – Sunday, September 2

Greetings Grace Community Baptist Church!

What a sweet time of worship we had together this past Sunday! We were reminded, from God’s Word, of the promise that he keeps those who are his.  What assurance! Praise him!

If you were unable to be there, you can listen to this past Sunday’s sermon here:

As most of you know, this coming Sunday will be my last with you as your Interim Pastor. It has been such a delight to serve with you over these past few months.  I am very confident that the Lord will raise up the right man to serve in leadership as Senior Pastor of this church! We will continue to pray that God, through the discernment of the Elders and the congregation as a whole, might bring a faithful man of God who is the right fit for GCBC.

It is the kind providence of the Lord that the theme for this Sunday’s sermon is the unity of the church.  We will look at the close of Jesus’ High Priestly prayer and hear his burden for the unity of his people. Begin reading John 17:20-26 in preparation for this Sunday.

Also, be sure to read over the Scripture passages below and familiarize yourselves with the songs we’ll sing. I look forward to our time together this coming Sunday as we gather around the Word!

Blessings in Christ,

Josh Hayward, Interim Pastor
